The Hartman Prehistoric Garden, located in Zilker Botanical Gardens, features plants common to the Early Cretaceous Period (144-127 million years ago), casts of dinosaur tracks believed to be made by an ornithomimid found on site in 1992, and a bronze sculpture of an ornithomimid created by Texas Memorial Museum's artist John Maisano.

The Texas Memorial Museum offers exhibits and public programs based on its world-renowned research collection of more than 5 million natural science specimens.  Exhibits focus on dinosaurs and fossils, gems and minerals, and Texas wildlife.
