Texas Science and Natural History Museum Opening Sept. 2023
Texas Memorial Museum is now Texas Science and Natural History Museum. The Museum is temporarily closed while we renovate and upgrade the facility. Work on the Museum includes building upgrades such as roof repairs, revitalization of foundational exhibits, installation of new exhibits and features, and improvements that will allow for hosted events.
The Museum is focused on redesigning its exhibits and developing interpretive programming for all ages that spark curiosity, promotes belonging, and tells a story about Texas science and natural history. We are upgrading the overall visitor experience by making connections from prehistoric life to advanced research and technology.
During this time the best way to stay up-to-date and receive a sneak peek of the work being done is by subscribing to our newsletter and following us on social media. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum next fall!
